Built, integrated & backed by Trace

OEM Products

Beyond integrating third-party systems, Trace designs and builds much of its own emissions-monitoring equipment — process-based systems, flow monitors, sample conditioning, data loggers, and the software behind our CEMS and PEMS — and hand-selects proven partners only for specialized analyzers. Whether Trace engineers a product or integrates it, we configure, support, and stand behind every one below exactly the same way.

Process-based systems

Monitoring that does more than report — it ties into your process to optimize it, integrating with plant controls to cut testing, chemical, and water costs.

CO₂ Scrubber CEMS

Specialized continuous emissions monitor

Purpose-built for ethanol CO₂ scrubbers — continuously measures acetaldehyde, acrolein, formaldehyde, VOCs, methanol, ethanol, and more, eliminating costly stack testing while optimizing water and chemical use.

  • Eliminates costly stack testing — typical 18–24 month payback
  • Extends RATA test intervals up to 24 months
  • Centralized PID control of water and chemical feeds
  • Proven across Nebraska, Iowa, Texas, and Colorado

Analyzers

Trace FTIR

Multi-component gas analysis

A Fourier Transform Infrared (FTIR) analyzer that measures many gas species at once from a single hot, wet sample — ideal for compounds like HCl, HF, NH₃, and formaldehyde that conventional analyzers struggle with. Trace integrates, configures, and supports it as part of a complete system.

  • Simultaneous multi-component measurement from one analyzer
  • Hot/wet measurement — no sample drying, less loss of soluble gases
  • Measures HCl, HF, NH₃, SO₂, formaldehyde, and more
  • Integrated and supported by Trace end to end

Sampling & flow

HSC

Heating Sample Conditioner

A self-contained sample oven delivering a filtered sample at a consistent temperature up to 400°F — engineered for “hot, wet” THC and FTIR sampling without cold spots or condensate.

  • Consistent sample temperature up to 400°F (204°C)
  • Serves multiple analyzers at once
  • Two independent heat zones with dual PID controllers
  • Heated filter assembly; 19″ rack mount with slide rails

CEMS Flow

Stack flow monitor

A pitot-tube stack-flow monitoring system built for reliable, accurate, stable readings in harsh stacks — fully PS-6 compliant with automatic daily calibrations.

  • Fully PS-6 compliant — meets or exceeds EPA flow-monitoring requirements
  • Automatic daily calibrations
  • Pitot-type primary elements with Type K thermocouples
  • Self-evaluating smart electronics for corrosive, high-particulate, wet stacks

Data acquisition & software

Trace DAS

Air emissions software (DAHS)

Our web-based DAHS — the configurable data, calculation, and reporting layer behind every Trace CEMS and PEMS. The evolution of DAS 2000.

  • Fully configurable calculation profiles
  • Web-based — no client-side software to install
  • Scales from a single source to fleet-wide

CEMSLog

Data logger

A scalable data logger built specifically for stack monitoring — performs all locally required functions and expands when paired with Trace DAS. Interfaces with 40 CFR 60 and 40 CFR 75 systems.

  • Industrially hardened against vibration, heat, and electrical noise
  • Non-volatile memory with local data storage
  • IEC-61131-3 compliant, multi-tasking OS
  • Integrated touchscreen optimized for CEMS

IoT Monitoring

Cloud-based emissions data assurance

Cloud-based oversight of your data acquisition system — 24/7 health monitoring that catches hardware and software issues before they become compliance problems, with secure off-site backups.

  • 24/7 proactive monitoring and support
  • Check site health from anywhere in the world
  • Off-site cloud backups guard against data loss
  • Automatic issue detection before non-compliance
