Predictive Emissions Monitoring Systems
Predictive emissions monitoring is a software-based alternative to hardware CEMS. It models emissions from process parameters you already measure, cutting analyzer and maintenance costs without giving up compliance. PEMS is still a new topic for a lot of people in this industry — it isn't for us. PS-16 is the EPA performance specification a PEMS has to certify to, and unlike the CEMS-based specs it's the one that governs whether your PEMS stands up — so we engineered our system around it from the ground up: the modeling approach, the RATA, and the QA/QC plan are all built to meet it. We pioneered the first approved PEMS in double-digit U.S. states and have built them since 2004. Every system runs on the same Trace DAS platform as our CEMS.
